SLICE Parking

OUR STORY

40+ Years Experience. One Big Idea.

Solving America’s Parking Problem While Generating New Revenue

Sam Medile spent four decades innovating the parking industry and starting trends. He saw cities desperate for more spots. Business owners posting tow away signs. Empty lots. Missed revenue.

He knew there had to be a better way, so he built one.

The parking lot was always the overlooked asset.

For more than 40 years, Sam Medile built a career inside the parking
industry, managing operations, advising municipalities, and watching
the same pattern repeat itself across cities and small towns alike:
perfect parking lots sit empty for most of the day, generating
nothing for the people who owned them.

The demand was there. The technology existed. But no one had built
a solution that was simple enough, accessible enough, and trusted
enough to actually work at scale.

At the same time, Mike Wheeden was building a different kind of
career. Utilizing technology to launch and grow businesses in
markets others overlooked.

From workforce training and job placement through I.T. Works, to
transforming nurse staffing models with b4health, Mike built
companies around a consistent idea: find the inefficiency, simplify
the solution, and make it work for real people.

Parking was never the problem.
The system was. So we changed it.
Now every lot owner can get their
“SLICE of the parking pie.”
                                       – Sam Medile

When they met more than a decade ago, Mike was seeking funding and
mentorship for an early venture.

Sam saw something in Mike immediately. Mike saw something in the
parking problem Sam had been watching for years. They started
working together, building a strong trust and partnership.

The opportunity became clear: What if you combined deep industry
expertise with modern technology and a simple business model?

What if you made parking work for the people who actually own lots?

SLICE is the solution. Offering communities more parking;
municipalities safe, secure, easy parking transactions and business
owners the opportuntiy to grow new revenue.

Today, anyone who owns a lot can get a “piece of the parking pie.” Even
better, cities and municipalities have options on safely managing their
lots. Churchs and nonprofits can benefit with “Parking For Good.” SLICE
offers smooth events and custom solutions for real people.
